This page explains what happens to your details when you contact MotorDoc Pro or use this website. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.
Who We Are
MotorDoc Pro is a mobile DPF cleaning and diesel diagnostics business based in Watford, covering Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties. It is run by Kris, who is the person responsible for your information.

What We Collect
When you contact us. If you fill in a form on this site, we receive what you type into it: your name, your phone number, your postcode, your vehicle and its registration, and whatever you tell us about the problem. We use it to reply to you and to carry out the work. If you call or message on WhatsApp instead, we have your phone number because you called us.
A copy stays on the website for 30 days. When your message is emailed to us, this website keeps a copy of that email so a lost enquiry can be traced. It is deleted automatically after 30 days, and it is only visible to whoever administers the site.
When you browse the site. If you accept cookies, we collect anonymous information about how the site is used: which pages you looked at, roughly where in the country you are, what kind of device you are on, and whether you tapped the call or WhatsApp button. This tells us which pages actually help people and which are wasting their time. It does not tell us who you are.
We do not ask for payment details on this website, and there is nothing on it to log into.
Cookies, and Your Choice
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses two kinds.
- Necessary ones, which make the site work and remember the cookie choice you made. These are always on, because without them the site cannot function.
- Measurement and advertising ones, which tell us how the site is performing and whether our advertising is worth the money. These stay switched off until you accept them.
The banner appears the first time you visit and nothing beyond the necessary cookies is set until you answer it. Choosing Reject is a real choice, not a delay: the measurement cookies simply never load.
Changed your mind? Clearing this site's data in your browser settings will make the banner appear again, and you can answer differently.
Who Else Sees It
If you accept measurement cookies, information about your visit is shared with the companies that provide those tools:
- Google, for website analytics and to measure our Google Ads.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our advertising there.
Both are large companies with their own privacy policies, and both may process information outside the UK. If you reject cookies, neither receives anything about your visit.
The details you send us through a form or tell us on the phone are used to do your job and are not sold to anyone.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just call or email and we will sort it out.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
